Young Adolescent Service Learning
Youth Serve - Offers young people the chance to participate in a unique Justice and Service learning experience focusing on the seven principles of Catholic Social Teaching.
Mission Possible - An annual service and justice education event and a multi-parish week for high school and middle school youth which includes more than 30 parishes with over 1,000 participants.
Martin Luther King Day of Service - In 1994 Congress passed the King Holiday and Service Act, designating the King Holiday as a national day of volunteer service. Instead of a day off from work or school, Congress asked Americans of all backgrounds and ages to celebrate Dr. King's legacy by turning community concerns into citizen action. The Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministries gives Middle School youth the opportunity to participate providing service to the community.
