Martin Luther King Day of Service

Martin Luther King Jr.

Day Of Service

January 21, 2013

This year instead of the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries sponsoring an inter-parish MLK day of service, we invite all those who do ministry with Middle School youth to sponsor your own parish MLK service day in your local community.  We have some resources to help you in preparing and planning for this day.

Suggested Schedule - Reflection Questions / MLK Day of Service:
This information can be used to help in preparing for and processing the day's activities.

Journal:

The journal can be used to help in preparing and processing the day’s activities.  You will need to insert information about the local agency you are serving on the back page (a non PDF copy of the journal for additions and changes can be acquired by emailing a request for the file). You might also change the reflection questions based on the needs and dynamics of your group.
