The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries offers young people the chance to participate in a unique Justice and Service learning experience. Focusing on the seven principles of Catholic Social Teaching, Youth Serve educates junior high youth by means of skits, stories, and small group discussions and then are gives them the opportunity to put what they have learned into action in the local community. The teens participate as part of parish teams which include one adult to every five youth.

Brought to Dallas several years ago by the Center for Ministry Development, Youth Serve is now a franchise venture of the Dallas Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries. Dallas has received national recognition for piloting the program during its initial development stages.
